Updated: Nov 15, 2023

There will also be coin collection days at the Suit Direct Stadium held in support of the PFC Trust at a couple of home games this season on January 27 and March 2.

The PFC Trust’s logo is on the back of Pools’ away shirt and there will be an advertising banner on the side of the ground.

Carl Jorgeson, the chief operating officer of the PFC Trust, said: “Hartlepool United is embedded in the town and the PFC Trust supports the town in as many different ways as we can, so this partnership is a perfect example of how organisations should work together.

“We all want to support our hometown and that means supporting a club that is close to the town’s hearts.

“We are looking forward to working together over the coming years on a number of fronts with the aim to forge an even greater bond between the community and the football club.

“By partnering with Hartlepool United we are raising the profile of the charity, a charity that has done so much incredible work since Frances and Patrick Connolly founded it in 2019. It’s great we can do this and support the town’s professional football club at the same time.”

Frances personally donated the sponsorship fee and asked for the charity’s logo to be printed on the back of the second shirt during the two-year deal.

The PFC Trust has supported a long list of grassroots sports clubs and groups in the town over the last few years.

Rose Stoker, Hartlepool United’s commercial and operations director, said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with the PFC Trust.

“The charity plays an instrumental role in the community, supporting other organisations who are assisting with improving the lives of the people in Hartlepool.

“We aim to provide further exposure for the PFC Trust and their partners and we are looking forward to working with them throughout the season ahead.”

*The season ticket competition closes on October 14. The prize draw will be done on October 16 on the PFC Trust’s social media. Text UCHANGELIVES to 70580 to make a £5 donation to enter.
